Character and Leadership Development Curriculum Review Night

We are hosting a Character and Leadership Development Curriculum Review night to share the resources we are currently using and to gather productive feedback from parents. Please join us on Thursday, December 9th, from 4:30-7:30PM in the GIS 5-6 commons area. This will be a “come and go” event in order to allow parents to join us despite hectic schedules during the holiday season. Therefore, there will not be a formal presentation by Godley ISD staff. Instead, participants will be able to review the curriculum through online and printed materials at their own pace. Feedback will be gathered through an online Google Form to ensure precise and adequate responses, as well as to receive feedback from parents unable to attend the event. This format allows flexibility for our busy stakeholders while also allowing the District to develop a thorough FAQ from questions and feedback garnered through the form.

Community Food Drive

Godley's annual community food drive has begun! Student's are encouraged to bring non-perishable items now through November 18th.

Community Calendar Discussion

Godley ISD would like our parents and stakeholders to join us in discussing our current balanced school calendar. After completing an entire year of this calendar, we would like to gain feedback surrounding our community’s experience with it thus far. District administrators will be able to help answer possible questions and give insight on how and why decisions regarding the calendar were made. The meeting will be held on September 22, 2021, at 6:00 PM in the Godley High School CLI.
